Its going to be a great summer! Lets get outside and enjoy it!
Summer is not canceled!
Gov. Murphy has declared that Summer Day Camps can resume on July 6th.
To meet the needs of our local community, we will be offering both in-person as well as virtual summer camp.
Why not have your child improve their English, Math, Reading & Writing and Critical Thinking Skills? What about learning Chess? Do they like Arts & Crafts?
Need them to release some energy?
Have they been turning your home during quarantine into an obstacle course?
The GRIT Academy is here for you!
As parents of five boys we know first hand the need for children to get outside and have a "normal' summer. We have reimagined our summer camp to focus on the emotional and physical needs of children all while working to keep them safe and healthy. GRIT Academy was born out of our desire to instill a sense that anything is possible with hard work and a "never give up attitude".
Our passionate educators and youth movement coaches are committed to providing an experiential learning experience and foundational movement experience that fosters a child's desire to learn while building grit and perseverance. Our proven models embrace best practices developed by educators and trainers around the world.
Have a blast this summer while improving strength, balance, agility, overall conditioning and endurance. Our outdoor programs combine typical non-competitive day camp activities with our parkour/ninja movement training through ever changing obstacle courses.
Challenging your child mentally, GRIT Academy offers a range of Academic Enrichment programs (Math, English, Critical Thinking, Chess, Robotics and Public Speaking to choose from to ensure that your child is ahead of the pack come fall.
Our reimagined summer camp is designed for the outdoors. While we have a large, well ventilated facility, our 2020 camp will be outdoor focused with daily adventure expeditions to local parks (Van Vorst, Liberty State Park) and sports fields ( St. Peters Prep).
